Profile:
Patrick Waltz began practicing in the area of employee benefits
in 1999. Patrick earned his LL.M.
in Employee Benefits Law in 2001 at The John Marshal Law School.
He has significant experience in virtually all aspects of employee
benefits, including design, drafting, operation, correction
and termination of qualified pension, profit sharing, 401(k)
and cash balance plans, as well as plans for non-profit employers
such as 403(b) and 457 plans. Patrick has expertise in employee
benefits and employment law for Native American tribes. He advises
employers on fiduciary issues under ERISA and counsels employers
and executives on the implementation and operation of executive
compensation plans and arrangements. Patrick has lectured before
legal and other professionals with entities such as Lorman Education
Services, Arizona Federal Tax Institute and the Western Pension
Benefits Conference for which he serves as a member of the Board
of Directors.
